About West Texas Water & Power
We are developing a new water source for West Texas, close to the communities and power producers that need it.
What we do
West Texas Water & Power LLC is a company based in Longview, Texas. Our project, Pecos SS, is a proposed groundwater supply in Pecos County: a permit to produce and export up to 10,000 acre-feet of water a year, six wells, and a pipeline of about 57 miles.
We plan to sell water wholesale to cities, utility districts, and power plants. Those customers then serve homes and businesses through their own systems.
Where the project stands
Pecos SS is at the planning stage. The next steps are engineering and survey, supply agreements with customers, and financing from eligible investors. Pipe size, pump station design, and final crossings will be set by the project engineers.
